Babies weight at 32 weeks compared to delivery

If you remember, what were the weights compared to birth?

I am 32 weeks now and at my appt today, Baby A is 4lbs 12oz and Baby B is 4lbs 5oz. Doctor said they are a great size and won't gain weight as rapidly now as a singleton would..

She said she'd estimate weight at birth around 6-7lbs. Sound about right?

I don't remember what their weights were but I do remember them estimating birth to be about 6 lbs. my dds were born at 37 weeks 4lbs14oz and 5 lbs4ozs. So they overestimated

I went back to look at posts from when I was pregnant and found my 34 weeks post. At 34 weeks the girls were measuring 5lbs 11oz and 5lbs 6oz. They were born at 36 weeks 1 day and they were 6lbs 2oz and 5lbs 12oz.

I had a sono at 31W5D and they said DS was 3lbs 11oz and DD was 3lbs 6oz. Something like that. They were born 2 days later at 32 weeks exactly at 2lbs 14oz and 4lbs 2oz.

At 30 w both girls were 1 lb to 1.5 less then they measures hours before delivery

that sounds great! at 35 weeks, mine measured 5lbs each. at 35/3, they were born at 4lbs9oz and 5lbs1oz

I don't remember the specific weights, but I delivered at 36 weeks and they were between .5 and 1 lb larger than they estimated at my last appointment which was great

I had my twins at 38 weeks & both were 7lbs plus...
Most people don't make it this far though. It sounds like you are doing a Great job.

Mine were born 35w4d and they were 5lbs 10oz and 5lbs 3oz - the resident did a sono of my daughter and said she was 5lbs3oz and when they were born an hour later he was right!

I don't remember 32 weeks (though I can look it up) but babies were born at 36 weeks

At 35w4d my twins were 5lbs10oz and 5lbs3oz when they were born. At my appt 2 weeks before my daughter measured 5lbs3oz and when she was born she was the same weight.

A little update, at my 36 week sono, they were measuring 6lbs even and 6lbs 11oz. My C-section is TOMORROW so we will see!!

Wanted to update my post...

I had my boys on 5/7 and their weights were:

Tyler - 6lbs 5 oz
Brandon - 7lbs 10 oz

Both good sizes for twins..especially Brandon...who is quite the chunky one and now at 5 weeks old is over 11 lbs!
