I use the sunblock from The Honest Company.

Can you recommend a good and safe sunblock?

I love the Neutrogena pure and free sunscreen. It was the highest SPF I could find (70) for my see-through Irish babies. It goes on nicely and at 3 and 1, neither of my boys have ever had a sunburn! They alsoake a stick for face/ears which I love.

I had a bunch of different ones last summer. California Baby, Goddess Garden, Coola Baby, and Kiss My Face. They are all organic.

I was just looking this up bc Costco is going to have it on sale but t it is the ultra sheer one. When I looked up reviews, they were horrendous. Like people breaking out in rashes. Which nutrogenA one is safe?

Eta: now I can't seem to find the bad reviews. Arg... So don't quote me on this...

Eta: okay it's this one that isn't good Reviews

Coppertone Water Babies Pure and Simple
Make sure it's the new one though and it says Pure and Simple on it.
The old one had some of the "to avoid" ingrediants.
I like this one because it also has zinc in it

Same. It has a rating of 2 and isn't expensive.

Re: Can you recommend a good and safe sunblock?

i go by the ewg site. I just bought badger for DD in daycare and last year i bought babyganics. I will buy more babyganics cause i liked it and it was cheaper than babyganics

I have also heard that its actually not good to put high SPF on for babies or adults.

There is a Copppertone pink bottle, can't remember exactly which one, it is available at drug stores so it's much cheaper and well rated on EWG

That's the one I use.
Coppertone Water Babies Pure and Simple
LOVE it
I like that it goes on white too so you can see where you missed spots- then kind of rubs in to clear

I used this one on DS last summer but then I realized that it has an overall rating of 2 but some of the individual ingredient raitings are 5's and 6's. So I'm not so sure the overall rating is what to go by

For this year I am leaning towards using Badger. The overall and individual ingredient raitings are both low.
