If you're pregnant with #2...
Were your early pregnancy symptoms the same? I was very sick with DC #1 and had very swollen boobs. This time my symptoms are the same but so much less. Boobs are not as tender an I'm not getting as sick. Thoughts?

If you're pregnant with #2...
I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow with #2. Throughout the first trimester with DS, I felt nauseated most of the time. Never threw up. I remember weeks 5-6 being the time when it really kicked in. I didn't have any other symptoms that I can recall.
With this one, I have felt this low grade nausea since before I even know I was PG (like around 3 weeks or so!) but still haven't thrown up (though I've had some moments here and there). I seem much better at controlling it because I see that eating really helps it go away. Definitely some breast tenderness which I don't really remember from the first.
That's about it. I hope it stays this way... I don't like the nausea but I can handle it.

Re: If you're pregnant with #2...
It was 7 years ago but this pregnancy is very different. I didn't have 1 second of sickness with dd and this one I was nauseous the whole 1st trimester. I feel different in general, more aches, pulls, carring lower.

If you're pregnant with #2...
I am almost 38w, and symptoms were not the same at all the entire pregnancy, and they are both girls, so nothing to do with gender. DD1 I had crazy sore boobs and was so sick until about 15w (throwing up and not wanting to eat anything). No boob soreness at all with DD2 and no nausea or food aversions. I was more tired this pregnancy, but that probably has to do with having a toddler. I was just generally miserable with DD1, whereas with this pregnancy at almost 38w I still feel ok.

Re: If you're pregnant with #2...
I had very few symptoms the first time around and I have even less this time around, which I didn't think was possible.
I have been more tired this time, but I have a toddler and I've been sick (colds) twice so far.

Re: If you're pregnant with #2...
This is my fourth and every single pregnancy was completely different.
#1 I had no symptoms except hunger #2 no physical symptoms, but very hormonal. Would cry over nothing. Fought with dh a lot! #3 a little nausea here and there and very tired in the beginning. Felt better by about 11 weeks This time around I was nauseous from week 6 until about 18, and I still get bouts here and there. I'm still exhausted and can nap every day and still go to bed at night. I also had such painfully sore boobs in the beginning.
I had heartburn with each pregnancy but it started the earliest with this one.

Re: If you're pregnant with #2...
My first pregnancy with my son- super sore boobs and crazy mood swings like PMS x10. Poor DH. No nausea.
This pregnancy- boobs aren't sore at all. Gradually getting fuller as I gain weight which is expected. No mood swings. I actually feel more balanced. I did have nausea this time around peaking at 8 weeks-11 weeks and extreme hunger. Im beginning to feel completely normal aside from exhaustion now at 15 weeks.

Re: If you're pregnant with #2...
With DD I had symptoms before I even got my BFP (VERY sore boobs, nasal congestion, nose bleeds) and lots of cramping early on. Then at about 5 weeks the morning sickness started-lots of nausea/throwing up. This time around I had no real symptoms (slighty sore boobs, but that was it.) Then at almost 6 weeks the nausea started, but seemed much milder than the first time around. Then a few days later the throwing up began At first I was hopeful I was getting off easier this time, but now I think I feel even worse. Hoping it gets better soon! Good luck to you!

Re: If you're pregnant with #2...
When I was pregnant with DD I felt fab!! No sickness, not swollen, I felt exactly the same as before I was pregnant except for the belly getting big part.
With this pregnancy I was extremely exhausted (however I think it was because I was working all day then going home to take care of a toddler), and very nauseous, morning, noon & night, but only threw up 2 times. I am now 16 weeks and feel absolutely great again.

Re: If you're pregnant with #2...
My pregnancies were IDENTICAL the entire time I was pregnant.........down to the babies HB's even being the same which is why I was positive I was having another girl. But, I had a boy.
I've heard some people have very, very similar pregnancies and others say every single time was different. Guess it just depends on the person.

Re: If you're pregnant with #2...
With DS I had no sicknesses and had an easy comfortable pregnancy. This Time I was sick for the first 4 months and have had a really difficult pregnancy

Re: If you're pregnant with #2...
With DC1 I was tired and some cramping - this time a lot more cramping and exhausted and no appetite/nausea. But I think some is different to b/c running around with pre-schooler and can't rest as much.
