feeling the baby

When did you start to feel your baby inside. I'm 16 weeks and my Dr said about 20-22 weeks. Just curious when you all felt the baby and what does it feel like?

Re: feeling the baby

I started to feel flutters around 14-15wks but very sporadic. Around 17wks I was feeling some sort of flutter at least once a day typically. Now, at 21 weeks, I have seen/felt kicks since last Friday. It's not consistent yet but my dh and I get so excited when it happens and just sit and stare at my stomach waiting for it to move again haha.

Since we were going to do gestational surrogacy, this is a BIG part we would have missed out on. Chat Icon

Withy first it was after my 20 week soon but can't remember exactly. This time I've been feeling flutters since 17.5 weeks but not consistently.

Re: feeling the baby

i will be honest... im overweight and the placenta is between LO and I

i could feel somethere here and there at like 20+ weeks but even now, almost 28 wks and its not consistant. there are some foods that i eat now that make LO happy or unhappy (who knows) and thats when i feel it.

otherwise, there is minimal and id like to think its fine...

Re: feeling the baby

I too started to feel little flutters (as if there was a little fishy inside of me lol) around 14/15 weeks.

I still feel them now at 19 weeks but they're still sporadic.

On a side note, I think my dog can sense them too. He was laying his head on my stomach last night and when I felt (or thought) I felt the baby move his heartbeat would speed up for a few seconds.

16 weeks: flutters, barrel roll feelings lol

17/18 weeks: small kick-like pulses, very distinct.

Re: feeling the baby

I have anterior placenta so they said I might be a little late feeling it. But felt it for the first time last week at 23w6d

I had no feelings of little flutters etc. it went right to feeling like a thump from the inside. Like major gas bubbles to full on bumps.

Inside two days I went from not feeling anything to visibly seeing it move around.

Felt my first flutter I think at 15 weeks. It feels like just little butterfly kisses inside. The first kick was later on and it literally felt like a kick LOL. Consistent movement was around I think 24 weeks.

Re: feeling the baby

Started at 19 weeks. Felt like small muscle twitches under my belly button. Still feels that way, but much stronger.
