Running outside....hat or sunglasses?

My eyes are sensitive to bright light & I need something. (hopefully not too $$)

What do you prefer?

And can you give me a rec on brand?

I wear sunglasses when I run. I can't stand having the sun in my eyes. I bought sporty ones with 100% UVA/UVB protection from Target... nothing fancy.

I've also worn hats but they get so sweaty, I don't find it comfortable.

I do sunglasses and a visor. I can't stand the sun in my eyes. And a visor at least lets in some ventilation on the top of your head.

I almost always wear a (running) hat with good ventilation. I try to limit sun exposure to me face. I occasionally wear sunglasses.

i got "snow blindness" this past winter. SO bought me a pair of polarized sunglasses that same day. i don't wear a hat because i have huge hair and i would sweat too much

Good point about the sun on your face...I try to limit that too (geez 6 years ago when I ran outside I didn't have these problems or concerns )


Any particular sunglass brand you like?

I wear a visor. I get too sweaty and sunglasses would fall off.

I don't like glasses, bc of the sweat and sun spots.

I wear a knit hat with visor in the winter and a regular visor in warmer months. Once I turned 30, I get bad sun spots if I don't have a hat on/shade. And they take months to go away.
