would you wait?
If you and DH were "talking about trying to get prego with your 2nd DC in oct/jan time frame but then a Huge family trip was planned for April (if all worked out you would be 5-6 months prego. Would you hold off with ttc or go on with ur plan.
The vaca is at a all inclusive resort in the Domincan.....

No I wouldn't wait. I thought I would get prego right away and planned our trip for May around it and here I am still TTC. Go on with your life. What will be will be. Is it that you want to drink or that you don't want to travel while prego?

Alittle of both lol. Im not a HUGE drinkier to begin with but i feel like with the all inclusive your paying for all the drinks u want but i wont be having Any.. But then again i guess i could just eat alot more then i would normally hahaha ;)

I wouldn't wait either. DH and I planned a trip to Mexico for last October and we decided to start trying in August. We ended up finding out we were PG the week before we went away to the all inclusive. I was only 3 weeks, I could have even waited to test and enjoyed the trip a little more but I didn't. I still got to enjoy the trip and just had frozen virgin drinks, nothing else was different (besides I couldn't smoke either). We just got lucky that we got pregnant right away but some things happen and sometimes it doesn't happen that quickly. Don't plan TTC around other things, like trips, weddings, engagements, etc, otherwise you'll always have something coming up that will stop you from TTC.

Hubby and i were panning a cruise for our anniversary, then we were debating what if i was preg etc etc
Good News is- We are now preg and going on a cruise in 2 weeks

I would never put off ttc for anything unless it was mandatory - like something health related where I had no choice.

Agree with the majority. Don't wait. There is nothing wrong with going away when pregnant. 1st trimester can be rough cause of nausea but traveling during second trimester is fine.
If it doesn't happen that quickly (as many of us know) the vacation may be a good time to relax.
Vacation babies are really popular.

I say do what you want to do! If you want to wait then wait. We've been ttc for two years, and when we were planning our wedding I didn't want to be pregnant for it. It doesn't make you a bad person if you hold off.

If you asked me at the beginning of TTC, I might have answered differently, but after a year and a half of TTC, I agree with this. If you're not a big drinker, I see no reason why you wouldn't enjoy yourself anyway.

No, I wouldnt wait bc u never know how long its going to take u to get pregnant. If you dont get pregnant right away after the trip, you will regret it.
