Another Dr. Zapantis Question

Does his office staff know their "stuff", For example: Are they aware that when you can in meds you have to call in with the most refills, etc. Just want to know if they're on their game.

Yes, I never had a problem with that. I believe Marlo gave me three refills with my prescriptions. In fact, she went above and beyond because my insurance really gave her the run around to get prior approval.

Great question, I'm eager to hear responses. I spoke with Dr. Zapantis today since IUI #2 was a bust. We discussed injectibles. I let him know that if we go that route that I need the max ordered and that I get 2-3 refills I think. He said this is good to know bc we might not want to waste all my injectible coverage on IUIs and save some for IVF. This will be my last Clomid cycle so I will talk to him next time I go in (waiting for AF) and see what he would be putting me on. I told him we would have to order the max allowable and he was fine with that. Not sure how you find out the max allowable. I tried calling GHI and was transferred all over the place and got nowhere. Let me know what you find out and I'll let you know when I talk to him if I get any more info about injectibles.
