Shower Thank Yous for non-attendees
If they send you a gift are you waiting until after the shower to send the thank you? or will you send the thank you right away?

I would send right away - you will have so many to write after your shower that I would get any out of the way that you can now.

For my bridal shower, I sent them right away. For my baby shower I sent them the week after my shower. I was feeling lazy. I normally would like to send them asap.

I guess I'm in the minority but I really only got like 3 gifts before the shower and my mom brought them to me at the shower to open so I'm sending the thank yous out with all the other ones from the shower.

I kept tabs on exactly what i got from who before the shower..then I did them all together the day after my shower...

I'm going to do it right away as the gifts come. Some may come early so I didn't want to delay and make them feel like maybe I didn't receive it, KWIM?
Last month, I couldn't go to a shower b/c I had a work-related conflict, so I sent a gift before and I rec'd the thank you right away.

I'm going to do the same for my Baby Shower as I did for my Bridal, send out thank you notes as soon as the gift is received
