If you run AND do classes at the gym
Do you use the same shoes or do you have a pair for running and a pair for classes/strength training? If you have both, can you recommend your shoes for classes?

Re: If you run AND do classes at the gym
I'm very specific about my running shoes, I wear Asics Nimbus. I wear either those or a Asics cross training sneaker for other classes. I wear spin shoes for spinning though.

I just got the nimbus on Wednesday, I noticed a big difference in my running on Thursday, less knee pain. I'm looking for something a little lighter for some gym classes though, like a training shoe.

Nimbus are great! I use them as my training shoes. I can't recall which other ones I have for cross training but they are much cheaper and just cushiony--I usually wear them when I run errands too. I'd say you could get a cheaper pair. If you do like Asics though, stick with them. I only wear Asics now!

Re: If you run AND do classes at the gym
I wear two different shoes. Running I only wear Asics Nimbus because I have a really high arch and these seem to work best for me.
For classes, I wear Reebok FitnisFlare Cross-trainers. I like them a lot and they aren't too expensive. I picked them at at Kohl's for like $40 bucks.

I use Nike free for running and lifting. I also run in mizuno inspire. Spin shoes with clips for spin. I use merell body glove for walking and other workouts.
