Toddler Hat Recommendations
Does anyone have any recs for a sun hat that is difficult for a toddler to remove? DS 2 is almost 14 mos and has very fair skin and very thin/light hair, loves to be outside, and removes every hat I've put on him.
Thanks!

Don't have a particular brand in mind but get the ones that you can tie around their chin worked for my ds.

Thanks -- I had a hard time finding one that did this in toddler sizes for DS 1. Hopefully I can find one for DS 2.

Re: Toddler Hat Recommendations
The Old Navy fisherman hats go up to 24mo and have the straps with the velcro at the end. Some styles don't have larger sizes available on line, but you could prob. check the stores.

i was going to order from one step ahead. it's the only place i found that has hats big enough for DS's head and still have a velcro strap. i haven't checked old navy though. i'll have to go looking!

Toddler Hat Recommendations
Thanks for the recommendations!
I hate that most places stop carrying them with straps at after 24 mos - and that my boys have slightly large heads.

Re: Toddler Hat Recommendations
I love the iPlay sunhats. Have used them on my girls for almost 6 years. They have ties, and have UV protection, can be washed, etc. They wear them at the beach (and the ties help keep them on in the wind!), in the pool, at Dutch Wonderland on the wet rides, etc.
I'm bummed b/c their selection for older kids is not good, and I need new ones for my oldest daughter who is almost 6.
I buy them online...diapers.com, amazon, etc.

This is what I ended up doing with DS 1 but, DS 2 has a lighter skin tone and thinner hair. I did find out though as a back up they make sunscreen for hair - who knew?

I saw these - I think I may try them. I'm thinking the tie may be better than the velcro.
