How much food do you expect at a brunch?
I'm hosting Mothers Day brunch, despite my best efforts to try to get out of it this year. We have been doing it for 8 years and I was hoping to actually enjoy MD this year. But that didn't work out. We normally have a TON of food, but I want to scale it down this year and not put so much work and pressure on myself. Do you think this is enough to serve? everything is served buffet/family style.
Assorted bagels and cream cheese with lox, tomatoes, onions Baked French toast Bacon/sausage Pasta with pesto sauce Pork tenderloin Salad Fruit salad Cake
And we will have coffee, mimosas, wine, water, juice
We normally also have eggs, muffins, donuts, assorted Italian meats, like 4-5 different cheeses, olives, tomato and mozzarella skewers, bread and crackers, a hot veggie, brownies, etc... Do you think I should add any of these back in?

I would probably add the eggs back in and maybe the donuts. Other than that it sounds yummy.

I don't eat eggs but I've been to plenty of brunches where they make something like a quiche.
In general, it seems like you have more than enough food.

If anything, I would add a quiche in. Anything you can make in advance would be on my list! I just did Barefoot Contessa's Pasta, Pesto and Peas for DD's birthday and it was yummy. It's served room temp and can be made ahead as well.

i would add the egg back in, and have someone else bring muffins or donuts (so less for you to pick up). Otherwise it sounds like plenty.

I think your menu is fine, you could probably skip the pork loin even.
That would be plenty of food IMO, especially if others bring anyting.

I would add eggs, a quiche.
I don't think the pork is necessary.
Maybe roasted potatoes?
