And thus starts the spring baby boom...*sigh*
I haven't been on the boards for a LONG time. It's been over 2 years since I went off birth control and we have been having issues. It has been confirmed that I have PCOS. I would like to say that we are not DESPERATE to have kids and I haven't gone to a specialist or anything, but this time of year always makes me both happy and sad. Happy for those who are expecting and sad for myself. My SIL just announced that they are expecting their 2nd, and their 1st turns one later this month. So she has been able to get pregnant twice while I am still going for number 1. I am extremely happy for them but its still a little sad. I know this is not a new story and there are lots of others who share this story. I just don't really have any others who I can vent to about this.

Vent away! I have the exact same vent. I feel like everyone is already on #2 and I'm still waiting for my #1. And yesterday being Mother's Day just really sucked.

PCOS can many times be helped by and RE without tons of intervention. If you have other issues on top of PCOS then it gets more complicated. I would go see an RE even though you say you aren't in a super rush. Even if it is just to know any and all issues.
It took me 2 years to get PG so I know the emotional rollercoaster but at least I felt like I had answers after seeing an RE.

This exactly. I was desperate. I thought I had PCOS but after seeing a RE I was told I had an adrenal issue (same symptoms as PCOS but not PCOS)
4 months after working with the RE I got my BFP. It was the best thing I ever did. If you are feeling sad about watching people get pregnant there is nothing wrong with hearing about some treatment options.

Thanks ladies. It is really nice to be able to come to a place where I know others are going through the same things. I think that once my DH gets his full time position at his current job we will look into the RE route. It's definitely on my list.
