Breech babies
Were any of you able to feel your baby go breech. For months dd was kicking on my right side now any movement I feel seems near the pelvic bone. I still have time but my next sono isn't for 2 weeks so wondering if this could be all in my head

Breech babies
LO was breech every sono I had until 30 weeks when he finally flipped. I knew he flipped to position because I felt his feet in my ribs. Last week I thought he flipped back into breech position because I felt feeling a kick or jab in my hip and not so much in my rib area. My sister was over and I had her feel around on my stomach to see where the head was (she's an OB). She said he's still in position and I must be feeling him headbutting me and punching me. Our DS is going to be a boxer if he keeps this up and not so much of a soccer player.

Lol I guess it could be punches too...I'm 30weeks Friday so like I said plenty of time I was just concerned because I wasn't feeling her as much and then today when I did it was a different spot

Breech babies
DS was breech from 28 weeks on. Everyone kept saying he could flip, but I knew he never did. I always felt his head sticking into my ribs!

They scheduled it around 36w but they continued to check weekly to see if he turned. By the day of the csection, he was still breech. I had the csection at 39w1d.

Re: Breech babies
I am 38 weeks and he is still Breech. I can actually see his head, my belly is super deformed! i look like an alien!! haha!!! They schedule my Csection last week. The OB scheduled it for the day before my due date so as to give him as much time as possible to flip around. I don't have much hope of him turning, he has never not been breech, but the doctor wants to give him ample time!

Re: Breech babies
just found out my baby's head is down today at my appt. I have been feeling movement on the side below my right rib today I was told that is the butt....his legs have been the one putting pressure in my rib. I started feeling this since last week. I have felt some pressure on my pubic bone as well and every time I would touch around the area it felt hard so I thought it was the head so I guess I was right

Re: Breech babies
DS #1 was breech. I felt movement all over, so I wouldn't have known by his movement that he was breech if I didn't have a sono.
For the record... he never flipped and I had a scheduled C at 39 weeks (I opted to NOT try a version to get him to flip... too many outcomes were him just flipping back to breech).

Re: Breech babies
No, I had no idea when DS went breech. My guess is earlyish only because for a long time I thought what I kept feeling on my side under my rib was a head pushing out. At 38 weeks I thought I'd be having a sono but they said the next week they'd do it, so I asked the Dr and he checked and said he felt the head down there and when I said it felt more like the head pushing my side he told me, no, that was the feet - they can kick really hard. Satisfied with that, I was super surprised the next week when they did the sono and the tech told me he was breech.
With a little over a week left, we decided we'd try a version, but my water broke that night so, no chance. This time I'm pretty happy we are getting more sonos, so I can at least not be surprised though so far it's been head down and feels more like feet kicking at my side.

Re: Breech babies
DD has been breech since my 32 week sono. I've always felt her head in my ribs and she hasn't made any effort to move. DH and I did not want to do the version either to flip her as we felt it was too risky. My doctor scheduled my csection around 37 weeks when he felt she wasn't going to turn. I will be delivering her 4 days before my due date.

I felt something hard on my side below my right rib, I felt soft in other areas but harder in that area that its his butt and legs that's what the doctor told me. Down below I have been feeling some pressure like to go to the bathroom and some movement but not as much as upwards. I touched below my belly button too and it feels a little hard you will be able to fee lit feel the whole belly and compare soft spots vs hard spots

Re: Breech babies
DS flipped at 39+ weeks. He was head down all along, and then a few days before due date I thought I was having contractions- I kept feeling my belly tightening. Later I realized that was DS going transverse and finally head up. After it happened, I felt a weird bump up high which I thought was his butt (just thought he was laying weird) but later realized was his head. I found out he was breech a few days later at a checkup. Midwife turned him a few days later by external version. LMK if you want any info on that experience! GL!

Breech babies
My SIL is a doula and advises the Miles Circuit to help get the baby in position. Can't hurt to try if you want to be proactive.

Re: Breech babies
I always knew exactly where DS was. I could feel my stomach to figure out where his head was. He tried turning a few times and I'd feel his head jutting out of the side of my stomach (vs the top where he normally was).
Turned out the cord was wrapped around his neck and that's why he stayed breech. But anyway, I always knew exactly here he was positioned. I think it gets more obvious as the baby gets bigger.

Re: Breech babies
I'm almost 27 weeks and found out the baby is in the breech position last week. Hoping he or she moves by my next appointment!! I go to acupuncture once a month but I might go more frequently to see if it will help.

Re: Breech babies
My best friend is a chiropractor and advises her patients to get adjusted throughout their pregnancy. I get adjusted every week. She uses a special technique called Webster that helps breech babies turn and there is a lot of success with it. Its all natural and doesn't harm the mom or baby. I would do anything to try to avoid a c-section especially if its natural. You can google it and see what you come up with. Good Luck!

Breech babies
How many weeks are you? Sometimes the baby won't turn into position until just before delivery.
If the baby is in the breech position, and there is no physical obstruction (cord wrapped around baby) then the Webster technique is VERY effective. I specialize in this technique, feel free to FM me if you have any questions.
