They will not do it in office. I used them for my son and once the baby leaves the hospital they (PUA) will need to put the baby under....they also wait till a certain age...4 months at least I beleive. It is considered elective surgery and they will not put a baby under for elective surgery.
If your DC is still a newborn and you really want it done I would suggest a Mohel. I contacted one and it would have been cheaper to have the Mohel do it even with my insurance.
I do have to say PUA were amazing with my son and DS was almost 12 months when we finally had it done.

Search Mohel on here. the guy I called will do them for anyone. He asks that you pay what you can but he has a standard fee. I forget his name but a bunch of girls used him on here for both religious and non religious ones. He was very nice to talk to. Or even if you start a new topic for suggestions you will probably get his name.

Re: Pediatric urology associates
My 2nd son had his circ done in the office by Dr Reda at Ped Urology Assoc in the office when he was 2 weeks old. No sure why the pp was told she couldn't get theirs done. My 1st son had 2 appts with Dr Reda while I was pregnant with #2 & we discussed what would happen in the office during my 2nd son's circ. They gave me no issues at all & said that they frequently do them in office (they do not go to the hospital to do them)
DS was given a numbing cream (he was not put under) & we waited 30 min for it to really take effect. I was no allowed in during the procedure but the Dr's very sweet nurse took great care in comforting my son.
FM me if you have any questions.
Just thought of something - maybe it depends on the age of your baby? How old is your baby, pp? My older son needed a re-circ & that one was done in the hospital under anesthesia because he was almost 2 years old at the time.
