Just wanted to let you ladies know I'm thinking of you.

I know how hard it is to be stuck inside when its nice out. Hopefully you've got the a/c blasting in your homes keeping you nice and cool

I actually was switched to modified bed rest a few weeks ago so I have a bit more freedom and able to go out briefly and do things as long as there isn't walking involved (no shopping malls for me!) ..

I go to appointments weekly now and always start the appointment worried that things will look bad again and I'll have my freedom taken from me once again. It's so stressful having people tell you to enjoy this time to relax.. .get sleep in while I can .. etc.. If I was told to relax, I would NOT be spending 24/7 in my bed. It's absolute mind jail laying there and counting the cracks in the ceiling and the hours left till the next appointment. I'm pretty sure I haven't seen the last of strict bed rest but of everything this journey has handed me, bed rest is far more manageable than the other cards I was dealt in getting to this point. I just wish pregnancy could be easy.. .but honestly.. I'm just so grateful to be pregnant at all Each day is a victory.

thank you for the post!! i've been on strict bed rest since may 7th (wow! i just realized that's only 2 weeks and it feels like FOR-EV-ER). i know our little man is worth every minute but it definitely is hard and lonely. thanks the hugs!

Thanks Jess! I'm at 8 1/2 weeks of strict bed rest... And today (technically yesterday) my boys decided it would be fun to get mommy out some- so they sent me to L&D, where I still am.
I'm being monitored for contractions & was just given a shot about an hour or so ago to try to stop contractions. I'm still feeling them so the nurse went to ask about another dose. The monitor isn't really picking them up well for some reason though. My ob is supposed to come here in the morning, so I will see what he says. I'm worried in the meantime No sleep for me tonight...

I feel for u guys I spent months on bed rest and I literally went crazy (I don't sit still well) but in the end I wish I would have been more patient and I hope and pray u ladies have chubby full term babies ... And I hope u get out of l&d quickly ..... Happy thoughts for u all
