Eating disorder help- anorexia
My mom has suffered with anorexia since her 20's ( she is now in her late 50s) and has never really gone for help. The past year and a half she's losing even more weight and now having heart problems. Can anyone recommend any eating disorder programs either in New York City, Brooklyn or Nassau county? Also looking for a therapist that specializes in eating disorders because she also suffers from major depression. TIA!

Eating disorder associates. I think the number is 516-794-7328 (double check with google or something)
They are on merchants concourse in westbury. ( next to bed bath and beyond)
Within the group I saw nutritionist Elise gold 516-616-3377
And carrie rapport Zaken, CSW was my therapist 516-621-5113
I haven't been there for 2-3 years, so not sure if they are still there.

YES. I went to Renfrew in 2004. I was in bad shape. It took awhile but my ED has not been active in a few years.
