So I think my son has an eating disorder
BECAUSE HE DOESNT STOP EATING!!!! He will be 3 months old on July 2nd and I had to go out today and buy him size 9 mo. pajamas. The other ones are all too short on him now.
My little piggy is eating 7 1/2 - 8 oz. of forumla every 3 hours. Is that even normal? I wonder if the dr. is going to have me put some cereal in his milk earlier than he likes to?

Wow! I think that he's close to the max that most docs recommend in formula daily. I don't remember the amount exactly.
Jayden will be 3 months on Wednesday and he drinks 6oz every 4 hours.

My son went through a growth spurt around that age where he was consuming so much formula...he was definitely past the recommended max, but he wanted it so I couldn't see withholding it!
He eventually stopped and cut back once the growth spurt slowed...
It's fine! Like my ped. said, better to have an appetite than none. You'll find it going in phases...next month he'll cut back a lot and you'll wonder if he's getting enough..it never ends!!

Mikayla will eat 7 ounces most of the time but then other times , she eats 5 ozs...go figure

when Jacob was 3 months...he was having 8 ounces of formula every 3 hours also...Now that he having the Gerber foods...he is eating like a little piggy
