Soak your foot in epsom salt...should bring it to the top.

ETA: with hot water.

This and then when it dries, duct tape.

I had the same thing a few weeks ago. I went to CVS and got ichthammol ointment and it worked like a charm. Somehow it brings splinters to the surface. I was amazed because mine was so deep but after a few hours it was at the surface. Incredible!

Re: Splinter in foot!!

If you tried epsom salt & it didn't work, please head to a doctor.

I know a splinter seems like a minor thing to go to a doctor for but once infection sets in, it can get very serious. ESPECIALLY IF YOU SEE A RED LINE near the site of the splinter (which means a blood infection).

Good luck! I hope you are splinterfree soon.Chat Icon
