What should i expect? Will i get to see the baby today?

First Trimester Screening Today...
Is this your 12/13w ultrascreen?
If so then you absolutely will. It's the best sonogram because you get to see the entire baby as a whole (and they give you pictures). When you go for your Level II at 20w, the baby is too big at that point to see anything other than various body parts -- but the body parts are of course more developed to get a better idea how LO is doing at that time.
You will also get your finger pricked today. They look for the folds in the neck and the spine to get an idea of any issues like Down syndrome, etc.

Yup, what the PP said. Except mine was regular blood work (one tube) not a finger prick. It's a fun sono and the baby looks so real and baby-like!!!

I had my NT screening yesterday- it's amazing how much the baby actually looks like a baby! (Opposed to the gummy bear at 8 weeks, haha) DH and I couldn't believe it was our little baby moving all over the screen
