anyone finding out/found out with strong feelings?

I have strong boy feelings. My anatomy scan is in 3 weeks and I'm almost nervous/anxious to find out...what if my feelings are totally wrong?

If they tell me it's a girl I will be ecstatic anyway, but with these boy feelings it will be a readjustment on my part.

Anyone else feel/felt the same?

I would have sworn DD2 was a boy. If I didn't find out I would have only brought a boy coming home outfit to the hospital! Obviously I was wrong bc I have a beautiful baby girl! GL!

With my first I had strong girl feelings. Even my doctor pointed out 3 medically relevant things that pointed towards girl. I was set on girl.

At the 20 week sonogram we found out we were having a boy. I held it together in the hospital but once I got to my car I started bawling to my DH. I was upset my plans had been ruined. I always imagined having two girls. I didn't think having a boy would be fun, or I'd love him as much.

Let me tell you, I can look back at that episode and laugh. I was so far off. My life is perfect with my little boy. He's my little man and I couldn't love anyone more.

Of course, now with #2 I'm having girl feelings again. Mostly b/c I'm cramping on the left a lot and I've read if the placenta is on the left it's most likely a girl. My DH thinks we're in for another boy. We will find out but for now it's a guessing game. Once we do find out, I'll try to remember how silly I acted the first time if it's not a girl.

With DS we didn't find out but I was convinced it was a boy the whole time and I was right!

This time I have strong boy feelings again and we'll find out on Friday if I'm right I will be totally utterly shocked if they tell me it's a girl.

I am definitely feeling a girl. In the back of my head it's always been how I pictured my first. All my friends and family are saying girl. The last two heartrates have been in the 160's, which legend says means a girl. Even my doc said a girl when she heard that heartrate! I would be happy with either, I'm more mentally preparing my husband for a girl! Scan is in 3 weeks so I guess we'll see...

I had very strong boy feeling with #3. 1 and 2 were girls. At 13 weeks the tech said she thought it was a girl (very early though). DH was ready to start painting the room pink. I was like no way, I swear this is a boy. At at 20 weeks, it was confirmed. Same tech said what did I tell you last time, we said girl and she was like well I was 100% WRONG. Its a boy! Love my boy!

With my 1st I would have sworn I was having a boy- we were team green.

She was a girl

My 2nd- as soon as I got the BFP I just *knew* it was a girl we found out at 13 wks and confirmed at 17wks- girl!

This one I'd guess boy- but that may be wishful thinking- everyone else says it's another girl (we are Team green again this time)

I kept having dreams about a baby boy before finding out. It was hard to tell if this was intuition or just my psyche playing with me because I "preferred" a boy over a girl for the first.

I'm team None of the wives tales are accurate with me. (I had terrible MS and the LO's heartrate has always been in the 150'/170's.)

If I were having a girl I'd be just as happy and would attribute my dreams to my psyche being a pain in the butt lol.

Also, don't worry about feeling "disappointed". My mom wanted me to have a girl SO BADLY. She was def. upset and disappointed after finding out it's a boy. However, she's gotten over it somewhat but I know the minute she holds her grandson she'll totally forget about wanting a girl (until she gets peed in the face lol).

For my whole life, I had premonitions that I would have a boy first. I even thought, as a young girl, that my first child would be a son and I even chose a name that I loved. It was something that just came to me, from time to time, growing up. When DH and I got pregnant, and while we were trying, every once in a while I would no longer get that vision - and instead, get the vision of a girl. So, then, the "feeling" went out the window because I was thinking how ODD to feel something your entire life and then it do a 180 right before.

So, I just put it out of my mind all-together and honestly, regardless of premonitions, I just wanted the child to be healthy and happy so for me it didn't matter, my flashes growing up were not controllable - they were just something that came to me. (I get these with other things as well - I can sometimes predict things, it sounds crazy, but I have an intuitive side that does this sometimes without warning).

We went in for the sonogram to find out the gender, and even in spite of always feeling one way my whole life, starting to feel girl before and during the pregnancy made me feel completely clueless as to which way I was leaning. We are having a BOY and I was stunned, just like I would have been if it was a girl. So, it was nice because I was surprised - and would have been either way. But looks like the premonitions I had my entire life were right.

I'm using the name from when I was little too lol turns out DH loves it too. It's nice - it's very "full circle".

DH and I felt like it was a girl from the beginning. Everyone thought I was having a boy. As it turns out, we're having a !

I have very, very strong girl feelings. We shall see on Monday, every sono the baby's legs have been crossed!

With DC#1 I KNEW the second I found out I was pregnant I was having a boy. And I was right.

This time around I don't have the same strong feelings but I definitely want a girl . I do believe this is a girl but I don't know if my wishful thinking is affecting that. I will be disappointed if it's not a girl because I know I'm done after #2.

Will find out on June 27!

I'm 33 weeks and we are team but I'm absolutely convinced it's a boy. I'll let you know in about 6-7 weeks if I'm right or wrong.

I definitely think I'm having a boy, I don't know why, I just think so. I think I'm having another sonogram & I might find out then-- I feel nervous too about finding out, which is so weird because I don't even have a gender preference! Maybe it's because I want both a boy & a girl (even though I know it can only be one of those) so even though I'll be happy with either one, I'll be sad that it's not the other one too (I'm crazy!)

I could have SWORN we were having a girl!! DH, SIL, and I were convinced we were going to have a girl. I was breaking out, heartrate was ALWAYS about 150-160, and I had hyperemesis (acute morning sickness which is usually girl). I felt like I started showing early and I just had EVERY sign that it was a girl. Even after our 12 week sono when they told us that it was 70/30 chance a boy, we still thought it was a girl.

Fast forward and low and behold it's a boy!! We were totally off! We were even used to calling "him" "she" that we had to change our complete mindset. We ONLY had a boy name agreed upon so we also didn't think it could be that easy LOL!

Since I found out I was pregnant my mom just kept saying "I hope it's a girl" (I'm one of 3 girls, no boys). My dad never said anything but I know he was hoping for a grandson, as he never had a son. My mom still made comments after we found out like "girl stuff is just cuter" or "you're never going to get as much clothing for a boy then a girl" or "I would go broke if you were having a girl, but with a boy we're ok". These comments I found to be rude and insensitive but my dad was SO over the moon I focused on him more. Now that we are 4 weeks from my due date my mom is getting more excited and cannot wait to meet her first Grandchild, whether it be a boy or a girl.

I've had numerous dreams about having a boy. I think it's because I've always been surrounded with boys - 4 brothers/no sisters, 6 boy cousins/3 girl cousins - so I just associate myself with boys.

However, I get strong girl vibes when I'm awake lol. All the wive's tales point to girl too.

We're having twins so I've convinced myself that it's one and one, I had a dream last week that we found out it's a boy and a girl. Lol

I can't wait to find out what we're having!

I really have a strong GIRL feeling. It's funny because the majority of my family/friends/coworkers also think Girl. Still need to wait another 2 weeks to find out!

DH and I wanted our first to be a little boy in the worst way! When we found out it was a girl we were both a little bummed. We are thrilled now, but it was definitely an adjustment.
