After finding out, 1 week later I am losing the pregnancy
I began to bleed this morning, which then turned into lots of red, while having very bad cramps. MY HCG level was low, have to go back on friday to confirm. This is soo hard... just wasn't meant to be...Today has been the most heartbreaking day of my life.
DH and I plan to be back on the TTC wagon soon as we heal. Would you girls mind me coming back here?

The same thing happened to me earlier this month. I know the pain you and your DH are going through. Just try to take it easy on yourself and take one day at a time.

Of course not!!
I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you are going though, but there are lots of girls on the TTC board who have been through this exact situation.
Lots of to you and DH.
I wish you a quick recovery and lots of baby dust going forward.

Re: After finding out, 1 week later I am losing the pregnancy
Sweetness (sorry, I don't know your real name!!), you are welcome back although we are not happy to HAVE you back, if you know what I mean.
I went through this in April - April 28 I had a D&C to be exact - I went from 1 to 0 to 2 (!!) back to 1 then to 0 in a matter of weeks, so I know the emotional rollercoaster you are on. You have lots of support here, these ladies are great.
You will heal, and all we can do is try again.

Everyone's experience is different, but usually, the earlier you are in the pregnancy, the shorter the bleeding. I miscarried at exactly 6 weeks, and the bleeding lasted for maybe 3-4 days, I passed a tiny bit of tissue, and then it was gone. You should talk to your Dr. about trying again - each makes his/her own recommendation. My Dr. told me to wait 2-3 months, but by the time he had the opportunity to tell me this, I was pregnant again - I ended up conceiving again about one week after my miscarriage (if you don't plan on getting pregnant again soon, be careful, because studies show you're most fertile right after a miscarriage), and although I've had a few minor complications, here I am at 32 weeks. I was terrified when I had to go back to the Dr.'s office and tell him I was pregnant again when he told me to wait, but he laughed and told me that there's simply no evidence that conceiving again so soon raises your chances of miscarriage, and that Dr.'s usually tell you to wait to ensure that you're emotionally ready. Hope that helps...

That helps alot. I was about 5 weeks, 5 days yesterday when the cramping/bleeding started. I am going tomorrow for another blood test to confirm my low HCG is lower. I am hopeful this bleeding will not last long. The cramps have subsided by 50% since yesterday, and I only bleed when i go to the bathroom, sorry if TMI. Hearing that you bled for 3-4 days gives me hope. I too passed some tissue yesterday, today is mostly blood. I want to correlate the physical pain with it being over, then being able to put this behind me and move on and back to trying. Thank you for sharing your experience, It means alot to me and I appreciate it.
