BFP this morning!
I'm a regular poster in hiding.
I had cramps like I was getting AF and AF never came plus I just felt so sick in the heat last week so I POAS this morning. Unmistakeable BFP. Two dark, clear lines.
We weren't trying, but with a lot of recent stress we weren't NOT trying hard enough.
I am so terrified of being pg that I kind of knew if it were going to happen it would have to be kind of by accident.
Anyway, I got the BFP. I am waiting until DH gets home to tell him.
I don't have any close friends who have been pregnant, so I don't know what to do.
I called my GYN and they are going to call me back. too early to see me most likely but I mentioned I am one at least once "Class C" Medication.
Is there anything else I need to do? Are all pre-natals the same?
We're going on a trip later this month. It was meant to be a dive trip. Maybe our last diving and drinking on the beach trip before a DC. I guess it's going to be a drinking smoothies on the beach and snorkeling trip for me.
Did you wait to tell people? I don't know if I should tell my mom yet. I have a trip coming up in less than 2 weeks (hoping I don't end up with morning sickness or anything.. ) and then another trip for work by myself a month after that. I'm thinking of telling her after so she won't worry as much (she worries when I got away regardless). I feel like I want to tell someone because I have NO idea what I should be doing.

Congrats! So exciting! Sounds like you did everything right so far! I'd say relax and enjoy telling dh!

I can't believe I had such clear PG symptoms. I mean AF is usually not late, so that would be one, but coud be explained by stress, but I have had cramps, peeing constantly, heartburn, fatigue. I was trying to stay in denial for a few days.

You sound a lot like me. I'm still pretty terrified & I still don't know what I'm doing. Just take prenatals & otherwise take good care of yourself. Only DH & I knew about it until the second trimester. Good luck & congrats!

BFP this morning!
Congrats!! We're due around the same time, I just got my BFP on Monday
I plan on telling my immediate family after my first sonogram, and then slowly tell everyone else after 12 weeks
