She is not my primary but I go to her group. I had triplets so i was there a lot! They are a big group and you have to see everyone. Lots of good docs there though - this is victor Klein and Michael Nimaroffs practice, two of the top obs who deliver at NSUH. She is very calm, available for questions, empathetic. I liked her. They are moving into a brand new space this month. Good luck!

Ahh I went to the great neck office. Maybe you wouldn't have to see her partners then, but if you do they are all really good.

Yes..she delivered 2 of my 3 kids! Been seeing her for years! Love her!

I went to her Mineola office and as a result saw only her all but once during my pregnancy. I used to see her partner Dr. Putterman, who I adored but doesn't deliver. I didn't "click" with Dr. Gilbert...just thought she didn't have a ton of personality. But she was very calm and competent. One of the Great Neck docs ended up delivering me....Dr. Rubin. I LOVED her and wish I could have a guarentee she would deliver my next.

Shes my doctor. She delivered DS 9 weeks early due to me having pre-eclampsia. She was very calm through the whole ordeal and made me feel more relaxed. She was great! Definitely recommend her.

She has been my doctor for years, I think she's great! However she did not deliver either of my children. For my DD, I had to see a friend of hers because there was a time when she did not accept my insurance. After she joined her current practice, I went right back to her, but vecause it's a practice, anyone can potentially deliver your baby. And that's what happened, Dr. Rubin delivered DS and she was great! My SIL just delivered, via csection, with Dr. Stenchos (sp?) and she thought he was amazing. I think it's a great practice to see!

I love Dr. Gilbert! She is very down to earth and tells it like it is. I chose her to deliver my twins for a planned c-section. I ended up delivering early and Dr. Rubin delivered my twins. Every doctor in Dr. Klein's office is highly trained and knows what they are doing. Throughout the pregnancy I saw Dr. Gilbert in the Great Neck office. The office can get crowded, but knowing the we were in good hands it was worth the wait. Currently, I continue to see Dr. Gilbert as I chose her to be my new gyno. Good Luck!

I would not recommend her. She became my OB after Klein decided I "wasn't hig risk anymore " at 35 weeks and wouldn't be delivering my DC. She delivered my DS via CS . Terrible experience ...
