Stroller to navigate the sand?
Did a search on this topic and couldnt find much...
My family and I are going to Europe for 3 weeks and will most likely be on the beach almost every day. Can someone recommend a stroller that is good for the beach?
I'm assuming something with bigger wheels?? Not sure what though... TIA!!

When we go to Aruba we take our regular double umbrella stroller bc I didn't want anything big and bulky to travel with. Since I know we are only going to be on the beach and the stroller would be sitting in the same spot everyday we didn't think it was a big deal to have something better for the sand.
Last time we were there we had the double. My 3 yr old walked or I carried him to our umbrella and someone either carried our 1 yr old or he went in the stroller and DH took in backwards in the sand. We put the wheel under a chair and it stayed there all day. Only took it back at night when we were done or we'd take one of the boys for a walk.

A few summers ago we went to myrtle beach for a week and a friend recommended a jogging stroller for the sand. I found one on here for $40 and it was so worth it!!!! Don't Knopf it would be practical to travel with it to Europe though because they are sort of bulky

Jogging stroller with bicycle type wheels . Use it every summer every weekend for the past 5 yrs.. Works great.. Glides right over the sand.. Also make sure it has a tray..so the stroller can be also used as a high chair for lunch without the sand ;)

i heard the citi mini gt is awesome in the sand but that's quite expensive

Stroller to navigate the sand?
My jogging stroller has huge wheels and its awesome on the sand... but i wouldnt buy something like that just for a trip... can you ask your hotel if they rent them or if there is somewhere close to the hotel you can rent one?
