Team Green gets so hard at the end.
 I mean, there's nothing I can do now to change it because I'm done having ultrasounds. And it's not even that I want to find out before hand ... I am still super looking forward to finding out in the delivery room.
It's just 34 weeks is a long time to call something living 'it' and I can't wait to start calling our little baby by it's name.
I'm not getting anxious to be done being pregnant -- I want every last week feeling little one kick inside that I can get.
Just want to start telling 'it' to 'calm down in there' or 'quit kicking the ribs...' followed by an actual name.
I'll hush now. I CAN WAIT.

 Just think, if you were hight risk like me you would be getting a sono EVERY.SINGLE.WEEK! Imagine having the willpower to hold out then! (not that I'm team green, I'm just saying )
6 more weeks tops and "it" will have a beautiful (or handsome  ) name!

somehow I've still held out despite sonos every week too!! I remind the techs every time I go in, I am SO nervous they'll accidentally spill the beans. Only 9 more weeks to go give or take!!

I've only got 8 days and I am not sure if its getting harder, or more exciting. I had a sono every month up until 34 weeks, it was tough. I am so glad I didn't find out but I do feel like I bonded a little more with DD in my belly when I knew she was a girl so I can understand.

Can you come up with a pet name until he or she comes? My friend couldn't decide on Charlotte or Lily for her first child and until they decided she called her Chilly.
Like pp said you could just call it Dino for the last few weeks or come up with another name.
My brothers and I were all called Fred before we were born.

eta- the hardest part for us both times is just having to pick out 2 names! hard enough to agree on one but 2 is ughhhh lol

We had a pet name for my first and now for my second my ds named the baby Molly. We aren't using that name and we are team green soy hats what we call the baby. Or we alternate with names we have picked out.

We just call it baby dinosaur lol.
But im ready to give it a real name.
I think it's because we are pretty settled on what the name will be for boy or girl. So it's specifically will it be a thisname or a thatname deal.

I couldn't imagine holding out for 40w.
I can barely wait now and I'm hoping to find out tomorrow! I feel like I will just really connect more being able to call it by name.

LOL- I like Fred!
DD1 has named this baby "Baby Scully." Every time we discuss real names in front of her she gets offended and insists that the baby already has a name. She also says that the baby is a girl (we are team green) so to make her point she sometimes says "Girl baby Scully."
Poor kid will probably be called Scully by her regardless if it's a boy or a girl

I'm struggling big time as I near the end, and I've got 2 in here! I've been going for growth sonos every 2 weeks since 20 weeks and it has been soooooooo hard!! Hang in there, we can do it!

I'm team green with 7.5 wks to go and DH is in London this week. Last night I started crying as I was driving home b/c I was thinking what happens if I go early and DH can't get home in time. Then I'll have to make the doctor and nurses promise not to share the gender with me until DH gets home. As if that's even possible. I was so sad not just about having the baby without him being here, but about finding out the gender without him. Pregnancy hormones make you think some crazy things! LOL!

It is the best surprise EVER! I was sure my  was going to be a  and I was soooo wrong. Just a great surprise. We are  again this pregnancy and I am already excited to find out!

it does get really hard at the end! I thought it got hard at week 35 when i had my shower but it got worse when DD decided to come out at 41w1d...those extra 8 days were really killer especially when you have to go for ultrasounds every 2-3 days.
but it is soooo worth it - i would do it again

I never had a desire to know. Toward the end, I just wanted baby OUT!
I do understand the "it" thing though. I feel bad too sometimes, but IT will have a name, or several soon enough. I can't wait to see baby Dino!!!!!
