Defensive Driving Online
Does anybody happen to know what courses most insurances accept? Currently I have Geico and I found three websites that Geico accept, however I am most likely switching insurances soon and I don't want to take it for nothing... Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks

Defensive Driving Online
Torture is putting it lightly.
I decided to take a 'comedy' version here in TX for ticket dismissal and insurance reduction.. figured with AJ it would be faster and hubby took it and said it let you walk away as it was timed. Each section is timed with questions and you have to listen to the whole thing. how bad could it be?
I will NEVER do that again. I'd rather sit in a class. Torture!
ETA: say a section was 6mins long the timer would click down on the side... but while it was playing it would show a picture of a red, blue and green car in a scenario.. then at the end of the section it would say what was the color of the car that was closest to the stop sign? Or when you saw the video what was the driver doing (eating). ugh

I used this with Geico and they send the certificate straight to them... My S.O has Allstate and had to wait to get the certificate in the mail and then send it to them.

I did it too. I don't think it's torture. I just left it on in the background while I did other stuff.

Re: Defensive Driving Online
I just completed the national safety one and I have geico.
I found it was easy....took me a few days. I left it on in the background when I was doing work or playing a game on the computer and clicked when I remembered.

Agree 100%. Would much rather do the class. Tell everyone that talks about online the same thing.

Defensive Driving Online
I've done idrivesafely.com two times and did the course over a few weeks a little at a time. It's really not that bad IMO. yes you have to do the entire time because it has countdowns and what not, but I did it when I wanted to and didn't need to sit in a classroom for hours. Worked out great for me.
You can check the NYS DMV website to see which ones are acceptable and go from there. If you have AAA, you can get a discount from idrivesafely.
