WW lifetime member after having baby
Hi, just looking for some info. Just had a baby a week ago and I know lifetime members get 2 or 3 months to get back to their goal after baby is born. I haven't called to reactivate my membership yet but just curious: Am I still allowed to attend meetings after I reactivate? Do I need to show proof of baby's birthdate? How many extra points for nursing? Just looking for any insight from moms who have BTDT. Thanks!!

If you are a lifetime member there is no need to reactivate. You're a member for life! You have 3 months to get back to goal. I wasn't asked to show a birth certificate or anything...I would think they just go on your word. 14 extra points if you are exclusively nursing. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I had my baby in November and lost 70lbs since then.
Congrats!!!

Re: WW lifetime member after having baby
Wow! I had no idea there was a policy on this. I was a Lifetime member when I had my son at the end of 2008, but I just paid until I got back to my goal weight (it took me about 4 months). But I didn't know there was a "grace period," lol!
To the OP - congratulations and good luck!

Re: WW lifetime member after having baby
Thanks for the info! And for the motivation!! I have 30 lbs to take off. Colleen when I got pregnant I had to call and suspend my membership for my pregnancy since I couldn't weigh in. So that's what I meant by "reactivate".
