Dorney Park
Has anyone ever gone to Dorney Park? I have twin boys, 12 years old. I am planning on going just overnight. I want to do the park one day and the water park the next day and come home. Does anyone know of a decent, inexpensive hotel we can stay for the night? Any tips you can suggest?
Thanks

Re: Dorney Park
The park is actually pretty doable in one day...I don't think the water park is really enough to spend an entire day it.
It's a nice park though....

Re: Dorney Park
I went about 5 years ago, and from what I remember, there were quite a few decent, reasonably priced hotels on the same road as Dorney Park. We stayed at a Howard Johnson that was literally right across the street. It wasnt the nicest hotel, but totally fine for a place to crash overnight.

Yeah, there are a couple hotels directly across the street from Dorney. You could do the both parks in one day, but we usually get a two day pass and stay overnight. Then again we usually have a couple of little kiddies (around 7) with us.
