Maternity Clothes: what do I need?
Almost 20 weeks and sometimes the clothing situation seems so desperate lol. I have one pair of work pants, no work shirts (still getting by shirts), but then I have a borrowed pair of maternity jeans and 2 pairs of shorts from a friend. Thankfully, I've been able to get away with my own summer dresses as well, but I think it's time for me to go shopping...
Can anyone give me a list of essentials to help me get through? (Due in late Nov, early Dec so if anyone has hints about being bigger at that time of year, they're welcome!)

Maternity Clothes: what do I need?
I'm due right around you, I bought a whole bunch of maternity clothes last week because my regular clothes just weren't cutting it anymore! I got a bunch of t-shirts and tank tops on sale, 2 pairs of capris, 1 pair of regular jeans and a bunch of open sweater/cardigans.
I figured the tanks and tees are good for the summer and when it starts to get colder I can just throw one of the sweaters over them.
I wear scrubs to work so I didn't really have to worry about work clothes.

Maternity Clothes: what do I need?
I love maternity leggings! So comfy! I have one pair regular length and one Capri. I also live in ribbed tanks from old navy. I have a few dressier tops for going out to dinner etc. dresses are great but non maternity usually fit or a while! I wouldn't buy much for the fall yet bc you don't know how big you'll be.

i second the leggings! Also I'd get a couple good pairs of jeans or black dress pants depending on what you wear to work or what you wear everyday. I am wearing a lot of dresses now that its summer and find them the most comfortable. Get some flowy tops that don't necessarily have to be maternity. i love maternity capri sweatpants/ pajama pants /shorts because they don't have any elastic on the stomach area so they are more comfy to wear to bed or lounging around the house.

I am due this Sept but I have found that Destination Maternity had the best selection of clothes, esp for work... Leggings are a must, maybe 2-3 pairs of work pants, couple of jeans & some tops to mix & match.

Maternity Clothes: what do I need?
for most of my pregnancy i LIVED in leggings and jeans. i got taken out of work on bedrest at 28 weeks so i didn't have that long to worry about work clothes and got by with a few shirts and a couple pairs of pants. now that it's hot out, i live in dresses as much as i can. i bought a couple from old navy maternity that i love. i've tried to keep my maternity clothes a little limited since i know i won't be using them for too long.

thanks for the feedback!! not sure why I hadn't even highly if leggings... that's pretty genius :) I'll start slow and little by little start collecting different items!

This!! I was due with DD#1 Nov. 17 and didn't buy any long sleeves. A lot of tanks and short sleeves. Then I just layered with various non maternity sweaters and such. I also survived in capris bc I refused to buy pants to wear for such a short time. Fortunately for me this time Im due Dec 30th, so I have almost everything I need. I will just have to get some pants. I already got some winter stuff on clearance a month or so ago from old navy.

There are so many options like maternity tops and tshirts,Maternity tunics ,Maternity jeans ,Maternity jeans with extendable elastic.Maternity skirts are popular. You can also buy online. Happy pregnancy.

i can wear whatever to work so i don't need dress clothes...I bought a bunch of maternity skirts (an non maternity skirts with the folddown band, and maxis, I can get away with regular cotton tanks from old navy, but I purchased a few maternity tanks as well. I have one pair of maternity shorts I think i need another though. I really need to invest in some maternity leggings though.
