I did not get a character backpack, but I did get Cars folders, Lego pencil case, and some fun pencils.

DD opted for the Teen Beach movie backpack this year. It was only $15 on sale at Kohl's, so even if I have to switch mid-year, it won't be the end of the world.

DD (pre-K) wanted Monster High, but a princess one was given to her for her birthday so she got a Monster High lunch box
DS (1st) got a matchbox backpack and lunch box

My sons both picked NY Knicks. (1st and 3rd grade). Although the 3rd grader is reusing his from last year since still in good condition.

My 2nd grade son is reusing his non-character backpack from last year, but chose a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lunchbox for this year.

DD got a glittery backpack from TCP and asked for a Thirty-One thermal tote for lunch with her name embroidered on it

Got a Skylanders backpack as a birthday gift this summer so he's using that for Kindergarten. Got him Ninja Turtle lunchbox. Lightening McQueen water bottle. Skylanders thermos. Eclectic mix!

This reminds me of my DD. She got a a Winx Club backpack and a Power Rangers lunch box . DS who is in Preschool got a Mickey Mouse backpack and a Thomas the Train lunch box.

This is the first year he wanted a bag without someone on it. He's going into 1st grade and he wanted a messenger bag! We got him a black one. He's been using it already! It's so cute on him!
