Spinoff to mum mums

Did you start DC on mum mums or puffs first?

I know it probably doesn't matter, but the idea of giving DS the little puffs scares me a little because he could choke on it.

Spinoff to mum mums

My DS never had Mum Mums. Not even sure what they are....I mean I have seen the package but only quickly in passing.

We only did puffs for a short time (a week or so) and then jsut moved to cheerios. Cheaper!

This, word for word. Dd had her first mum mum this past weekend at 16 months because a friend gave it to her.

Puffs, but I actually found the yogurt melts were better. Id wet the puffs a bit until they stopped gagging on then.

Spinoff to mum mums

No way could your dc choke on a puff! Don't worry! They dissolve completely at the smallest touch of moisture.

My DD had mum mums first. She wanted to hold her own food, and she liked sucking on it. They get super sticky, which stinks. I think she does better with the mum mums than puffs. I still only give her one puff at time because I'm afraid she'll put a whole handful in her mouth. (she's 6.5 mos)

DD is 8 months old, and has only had puffs. When we first gave them to her, we were paranoid and cut them into quarters. But, seeing how quickly they dissolve, we got over that pretty fast, and drop a bunch on her tray to pick up.

We started with the Plumm teething crackers. DD loves them. I had only one package of the plumms. When I couldn't find them any where I went to the mum mums.

We then did cheerios and then puffs.

We did mum mums first and then puffs. i thought the mum mum took him a little longer to eat and he sucked on it more. I was nervous at first about giving the puffs

NOT TRUE!!! My son has choked every time I have given him a whole puff. (scary) I have to cut them in half (at least) in order for him to be able to have them.

100% false. dd choked on one right before my eyes today - I had to stick my finger down her throat to get it.

Re: Spinoff to mum mums

I started with 1/2 puffs then someone told me about mum mums I would break up the mums into pieces since they were thinner than puffs and I felt they dissolved quicker than puffs. Once I felt she could handle the small pieces than I gave her a whole than I worked in the puffs. I liked target puffs better than gerber
