Now What? Car Seat/Stroller suggestions
My 7 month old (almost 20 pounds) is outgrowing his infant car seat and snap and go stroller. Any suggestions on what car seat and stroller to get next? I would like a stroller that has plenty of shade coverage for him and a storage basket on the bottom. I'd also like something that will hold him for a while. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

I'm getting to the same point now with our infant car seat. The straps are at the loosest they go and I am struggling to snap him in and he's not even THAT big. So I'm interested to see what people recommend.
As far as the stroller we have an UppaBaby Vista. The sunshade is great, it even has an extender that gives great additional coverage. It is sturdy and handles really well. The basket underneath is huge. It fits my bag, the diaper bag and then when we take it shopping I can fit all the the stuff we buy too. It does come with a bassinet which you won't need at this point but everything else about the stroller is great.

We've been using our convertible car seat for a few months now...
We just got the Graco Modes Connect. Its got a ton of basket space... it can face in or out.
I have yet to find a carriage that has good shade... this one is ok but at some points in the day if the sun is in her face we just turn her around... or if i remember i take the shade extender off the jogger to use.

The City Mini and the Britax equivalent (not sure of the name) have great sun coverage. The Britax basket is a little easier to get to though.

We have Britax Marathon carseats. And loove the Uppa Baby Vista. Good shade, great basket, the seat faces forward or backward. My 3 year old can still kinda fit in it.
Expensive but worth it.

this is what we have. the basket on the uppa baby is the best - so roomy - DD is 2 1/4 and still fits in it great.
Also have the same car seat.

I am just about ready to give up on the infant carrier too....
We have Britax convertible car seats ready to go in the basement when we decide to make the switch.
Stroller... we have the city elite, which is awesome, but a little bulky and the basket is not as large as many other. Other than that I love it.
I just got a Joovy light umbrella stroller for errands, and stuff and it is great too!

Car Seats Britax Boulevard (I have this one for my kids) Britax Marathon Britax Advocate Greco Nautilis
Strollers City Mini Peg Perego (I had the Pliko P3 and loved it - DD still uses ours on occasion and she will be 4 next month. We used it for Disney in July and at Field Station Dinosaurs yesterday. She could easily fit into it well into next year, heck my 6 year old could fit in it still and he is the size of an 8 year old in height).
