Menu help! Football Sunday!
Can I get some feedback on my menu for this Sunday? We are having my parents, sister, BIL, and my DH's family (sister, brothers, parents, ILs) for my birthday / football. Here's what I've planned for lunch. What am I missing?
Buffalo chicken dip with celery, carrots, and chips
Seven layer dip with chips
Pigs in a blanket
Ina's panzanella salad
Mac & cheese
6 ' hero (Italian / grilled chicken with mozz)
Chicken fingers for the kids
Brownies
Birthday cake
Fruit
Ice cream

Re: drinks - I think DH is planning to get some fall-themed beers, pumpkin ales, that sort of thing. I like wine, so I'll get a few bottles (although I seem to be the only one who drinks in the family!).
Any other suggestions?
Should I add a green salad to my menu?

I don't think the green salad is necessary. Unless you think the kids would eat it.

That's a good idea. Maybe I'll also throw in Ina's roasted veggie orzo salad. So much for ordering out and trying to make this easy on me!!
