Pilates

I have never done it, and am interested. It looks so expensive! Where do you go and how much are the classes?

Not pilates, but I wonder if they have work study? My yoga studio does this. You can volunteer to "work" for a few hours a week and you get free classes in return. Basically they check members in, clean after the class, maintain the bathroom and stay in the lobby area while everyone is in class, keeping an eye out, since everyone's personal belongings are out there.


I also know people take advantage of more expensive kinds of classes if they can find a groupon for it.

That's time-limited though unfortunately, unless you have the ability to studio hop.

Maybe they also have a beginner's special to see if you like it before making the commitment to buy more classes.

I pay $168 a month for 4 30 min private sessions

it's expensive - but worth it

I paid $500 for 20 1 hour sessions!
