First post/spotting before periods
This is my first post here, so I guess I should start off by sharing a little of my story first...
My husband and I were TTC for about 5 months last year unsuccessfully. We started up again this past March, and were shocked with a BFP in July thinking we were out of the running yet again. I found out at around 9DPO because I've been experiencing brown spotting for about 1 week before my period begins every month since last December. The doctor had prescribed me something to "reset" my period, and I was to start taking it when the spotting started. He also stressed that I test first because I couldn't take it if I was pregnant, and sure enough I was! Since I was spotting, I went in for blood work a few times and everything was progressing normally. I had a sono at 5 weeks and things looked good, spotting had even slowed and I was getting a ton of symptoms. Unfortunately, that all changed a couple of days short of the 7 week mark and I miscarried in the office while waiting for a sonogram. As I'm sure you all know, it's been a very difficult few weeks.
The doctor doesn't seem concerned with the spotting, and believes that what happened was unrelated, but I still find myself questioning that. Basically I'm just curious as to whether anyone else has experienced this pre-period spotting, or has had a similar situation. I know 1-2 days of spotting is normal, but this is 7-10 days. I haven't gotten my period yet, and the doctor says there is a chance this will reset things naturally and we can start trying again after two normal cycles. Just wondering if maybe I should start thinking about seeing an RE, basically right now I'm just lost and would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!

First post/spotting before periods
Since my mc I've spotted for anywhere between 1-6 days before my period where in the past it was 1-2 days. Doc ran tests made sure I have no polyps or anything and everything was fine. He said it happens...
