Random Hives....
My ds has been breaking out into random hives for about two months now (not consistently). I have taken him to an allergist before this, and test results state that he is not allergic to anything...
I have not changed anything in the home, food or anything....
He could just start scratching out of nowhere, and then hives appear. The more he scratches, the worse it gets and it spreads. When he stops scratching, the hives disappear on their own after 1/2 - hour.
Has anyone experienced this themselves or with their children? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Random Hives....
One of my friends daughters has dry skin in the winter and when she scratches it hives appear. I'd mention it to ped or derm. See if there is anything proactive you could do

Random Hives....
Thanks! It just really puzzles me... I mentioned it to the pediatrician when I brought him in and he had a little virus at the time so she said it may be from the virus. But its been 2 months now and he has no virus now. He has sensitive skin...but its not dry.

Random Hives....
i randomly get hives in a small spot. like the other day I randomly got a patch on the inside of my wrist. It was itchy, I scratched they spread a bit and got red, they disappeared a few hours later. I have NO idea why I get them and they can be anywhere on my body. I guess something just bothers my skin.

Are there any new toys in the house? When we were kids my brother had gotten this blow up sports set. He broke out in hives from something the vinyl was treated with.
