Developmental pediatrician

We were at the neurologist yesterday and he suggested that we meet with a developmental pediatrician because of some behaviors that seem to be increasing.

My ds is diagnosed with cerebral palsy but has some stimming, some OCD habits, and poor social skills but only with children. He interacts great with adults.

The neurologist is in the city and recommended Alison Gutman but also said that we might find someone closer. We live in suffolk.

Any recommendations? Any feedback on Alison Gutman?

He is in pk4 so I want to get the ball rolling before we have to decide on a kindergarten placement.

I went to Dr. Silverman In Deer park. There is usually a 3 or 4 month waiting list. I would call asap.
