Anyone ever have a VBAC with Dr.Antoniadis?

Hi all!

I'm currently 12w pregnant with my 3rd (2nd pregnancy) I have 20 month old twins that were delivered c/s ONLY because baby B was footling breech.

I currently go to Dr. Antoniadis and LOVE HIM but when I asked about a VBAC he simply said "it's not recommended, I wouldn't let my wife do it and I'm treating you like I do my wife" UGH and I was so caught up in the moment I froze and said okay and left. I don't know WHY he doesn't want to let me try though. I'll ask my next appointment...

Has anyone had a VBAC with Dr.A???

I have a consult next week with another Dr. that I'm really nervous about and I just really don't know what to do Chat Icon Help? Thanks!

I'd let that man deliver me in an alley..if he says it, I truly believe there's a reason but I wish you all the best whatever you decide

This. He told me after my csection with him that I could try next time unless something changes. He is not against them so if he is saying no then I would believe him.

I had a section with Dr. A in January, 2011. I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and he will be delivering DS#2 by section next month. Like the OP, I was told VBAC was not recommended and he would not risk possible uterine rupture.

I absolutely love Dr. A and trust him with my life. if he says he doesn't recommend it, I wouldn't even think twice about having a VBAC.
