Anxiety in first trimester
I am not a regular poster but recently found out I'm having twins due in April. I woke up out of the blue with anxiety. How did you get through each period in between ultrasounds without being nervous? I'm 10 weeks and all I think about is the worst. Is this a normal feeling? I know I can't control anything but get so nervous. Thanks!

Anxiety in first trimester
I used a self-hypnosis cd that was specifically for twin pregnancies, especially for preventing pre-term labor.......and I made it full term! I'll see if I can find it.

Re: Anxiety in first trimester
I think the same stuff! I am 8 weeks pregnant with twins and Im always wondering are the both okay - every little cramp I get worried something is happening. Then I see them on the ultrasound and they are fine and it helps for a short period until the next appt. I guess its normal to worry. I have an 11 month old DD and I worried the same way. Congratulations!!! Try to stay relaxed - easier said than done ;)

Re: Anxiety in first trimester
I am the same way. Will be 16 weeks tomorrow and my next u/s is next week. My last was week 11 so it's been a while. Heard them on the Doppler last week which helped. Unfortunately I don't think you can help but worrying. Just know they say everything is fine as long as there is no pain no blood. HTH!

Re: Anxiety in first trimester
i never really stopped worrying -- but like Gina said once they started moving you feel a little less anxious between ultrasounds
