Peapod vs. Fresh Direct
Does anybody use either of these companies for their grocery shopping? Fresh Direct looks a tad bit expensive for me. Anybody like either or both of them? I get home so late in the evenings it's hard to get to grocery store. And most weekends I dont have the car to get to the store that has all the good sales! Thanks

ive used Peapod never had a problem. My parents used it a lot this summer and a few times there were some items missing but you only get charged for what they deliver... the only problem is they dont tell you that some stuff wasnt there, it wasnt till she was putting everything away that she noticed...

We use Fresh Direct all the time. You can always get a coupon code for free delivery for Tues-Fri. It is a little expensive, but their stuff is good. I have heard mixed reviews on Peapod. FD's customer service is great. It would annoy me to have missing items, since if you really need what is missing then you need to go to the store, and that defeats the purpose.

Peapod vs. Fresh Direct
I used Peapod for months, but recently stopped. Almost every delivery, there was something/s missing (one week it was bread!). And like PP said - if I have to go to the store anyway, it totally defeats the purpose. I've never used FD, just because they are expensive. But, I have heard great things about them.

i used to use fresh direct all the time. i got sick of the produce going bad within days or things being damaged that i would then need to get a credit for and still go to the actual store to replace.
