Primary Care Physician

I'm embarrassed to say that I have not gotten a physical exam in several years, probably close to 5! I think it's mostly because I was unhappy with my last physician and made up any excuse not to have to go see him. I am looking for a new primary care physician, one who would handle things like yearly physicals, bloodwork, etc. I would prefer a female doctor in Nassau, who it doesn't take forever to get an appointment with and who is very thorough. I have GHI (NYC). TIA everyone.....

I go to Dr. Quintana in Lindenhurst. She is female and has a NP who is female also. There is a male PA but you can just request one of the women. They will do bloodwork, urine, EKG, and a lung function test I believe (the test where you blow into the tube and try to get rid of as many leaves on the tree as possible hahah).

I LOVE our GP, Jen Mingione in West Babylon. She's an incredible diagnostician and is just a great doctor. Super small office, just her and a medical assistant. Both female, and she takes Ghi. If you can travel that far she's definitely worth it.
