what is/was in your hospital bag?
I'm in the process of packing my bag.
I am bringing 3 pairs of yoga pants, a couple hoodies, a few tshirts, toiletries/makeup, an extra blanket, cheapo CVS underwear, a few pairs of socks, slippers, flip flops for the shower, a hot/cold compress, my digital camera and camera charger, nursing bras, my what to expect books and another book I can read for when I'm alone/bored or trying to distract myself during early labor, phone charger, headphones, and little speaker for my iphone so I can listen to my relaxing music (lol not like that means it will help), my "focal point" (lamaze anyone?) which is a photo of my honeymoon in greece, 2 going home outfits for baby (I can't decide which one!) plus a hat and swaddle blanket.
Any other suggestions?

You have more than enough for yourself. I don't know that you'll use half of it, but might as well be prepared. You might want a robe for when you're walking around. And I don't think you'll need the extra blanket since the hospital will provide that. Also, you probably don't need the socks since the hospital usually wants you to wear theirs with the grips on the bottom.
For the baby, I'd add in little gloves/mittens and a nail file since they tend to be born with long fingernails and scratch themselves. Also a pacifier if you intend to use one.

i would definitely add in a robe.
and i also agree with packing one of the little nail files and/or mittens. DD scratched her face up so i brought it for DS and actually used it.
eta: DH has 2 t-shirts packed as well.

Snacks for dh he is not allowed to leave while I am in labor. If I have to be trapped so does he. Also snacks for myself for after. I also packed a change of comfy clothes for dh.

Here's what I packed: -2 pairs of yoga pants -some comfy tees (both long and short sleeved since I didn't know what the temp would be like in the room) -1 nursing bra and 1 nursing tank -disposable nursing pads -lanolin cream -VERY basic toiletries: deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, a few hair elastics -flip flops (well, let's be honest, I wore them there and it's all I wore the whole time) -Boppy pillow (made a WORLD of difference with first time BFing- I forgot it the first time and Terence brought it the 2nd day for me) -camera, charger, phone charger -chapstick (lips got very dry during labor) -literally the only thing I packed for baby was the coming home outfit because that's all you will not be given
Remember- anything that you feel you are missing or that you want, hubby can always bring it back for you when he comes back!

That's about it. I overpacked but better to do that then forget something.

Re: what is/was in your hospital bag?
i totally overpacked - what i plan on packing for #2 is: comfie sweat pants (2 or 3 pair) nursing tops pajamas robe slippers toothbrush & paste deoderant hair stuff (brush, gel etc) socks camera charger for phone & ipad ipad chapstick hairtie/headband coming home outfit for dd
i never wore my undies - i used the mesh undies the hospital gave me (but obvi pack some just in case)
i took a ton of lanolin from the hospital (they gave out small sample tubes and i just kept asking for more)
we also packed the baby book - not what to expect (i had ZERO free time between visitors and snuggling with DD we barely had the tv on) but the baby book to put DDs foot & hand prints in when she was born. we gave it to the l&d nurse when we arrived and when they did the footprints for their records she did them for our baby book too
