Day care centers
I tried doing some lif searches, with not much success. Can you recommend a day care facility in or around Garden City? I work in Garden City and live in Eastern Nassau County. My son is 14 months old and is currently with an in-home nanny and I am looking to place him in a more reliable, structured setting.
I have visited Harbor Child Care in RXR Plaza, so any advice on that center would be helpful.

I have a few co-workers that use harbor and are very happy with it... maybe one of them will chime in here... I looked at it as well but it didn't fit our scheduling needs.

I had my older DS at Harbor, and now have my younger DS there, so all in all I have been there for more than six years. I would recommend. Feel free to ask any specific questions!
If you can wait a few months, I think Adelphi has a great program for toddlers/preschoolers.

I use Harbor. But the one in Mineola. We are very happy there. My son is 11 months. Started there at 10 months.

Highly recommend Harbor Child Care at Willis Ave. Its in Mineola not far from Garden City. My family uses them and LOVES their teachers and staff. Beautiful facility. Inbox me if you want more information. I also heard good things about Tutor Time in New Hyde Park as well.

My DS is at Harbor but in the Herricks community center. I used to work there in the baby room so I was comfortable with the people and the program. I would recommend Harbor! Any questions, let me know!
