Gyn recommendation
Does anyone have a good recommendation for a female gyn doctor that would be good for a teenager (first time going)? I went to one before but I wasn't that crazy about her. My daughter is nervous about going and I want to find a doctor that is particularly good with teenagers (and I think I want to change doctors too). Preferably in the areas around Stony Brook, Smithtown, Ronkonkoma, but willing to travel if that was the case. Thanks so much!!

Gyn recommendation
My gyn is Dr. Hanauer and she is great. She is in garden city park on herricks rd. At my first visit with her, I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She is very patient and has great bedside manners.

Not sure if you are definitely looking for a Gyn, but I have been going to the Stony Brook midwives for about 6 years now and.i love them!! When it's time for my daughter to go...someday... I will most likely bring her to them also. They have offices in stony brook and I think bohemia. Not totally sure which midwife is at which office, but in my experience I especially loved Goldie, Maria and Ann. HTH!
