Need a primary physician in Suffolk
I haven't had a physical in I can't even remember how long. I've always used a walk in clinic when I get sick, but i'm tired of sitting 3 hrs to see a dr when I'm sick and would like to find an excellent primary physical in the Ronkonkoma, bohemia, bayport, oakdale areas.

Need a primary physician in Suffolk
Dr. Nomberg on Hawkins in Ronkonkoma. I hadn't gone for a physical in about 10 years and they didn't make me feel weird at all. I prefer Dr. Nomberg over Dr. Ravi though. They're both very nice but I feel like Dr. Ravi doesn't listen to me. I stay b/c of Dr. Nomberg.

it's in Patchogue but I go to Patchogue Family Medical on route 112.
I never feel like i wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Maybe 10 in the exam room. I have been going there almost 12+ years now.

I have no info on the doctor but if you have GHI insurance via nypd (noticed your screen name) just be careful about going for physicals.... i found out GHI does not cover physicals past the age of 19 and we got billed by our doctor when DH went for one.

This is correct I believe GHI does not cover well visits except for GYN from the 19 - 48/or 49

Dr. O'Brien in Smithtown, 9 Brooksite Drive
I have GHI also as an FD wife

Need a primary physician in Suffolk
I see dr Laieta in Holbrook. He is so down to earth, easy to talk to, and will personally call you to give results instead of making you come in. I've never had to wait there either.

I go here too, though I like both doctors and really have no preference which one I see.

I love Dr Nomberg. She's very patient and thorough and explains everything clearly. Can't say the same about Dr Ravi.
