Lung cancer question
My Fil had stage 1 lung cancer 6 months ago and beat it by having a peice of the lung removed where the tumor was. He received a clean bill of health. unfortunately the cancer is back. This time it is inside the lung and can't be removed. He has to start chemo and radiation (didnt have to last time). Does anyone have anyone they know that beat lung cancer? I'm so upset and scared. He already seems sick...saw him.last night and he's coughing constantly and already lost 10 pounds and has no. appetite. I hope he can beat this again but I know lung ca usually isn't good

Lung cancer question
My father was diagnosed with Non small cell carcinoma in his lung in January of 2012... they said they couldn't operate because his health in general was so poor and he has a large aneurysm in his stomach. However, he did a round of radiation at Sloan Kettering and they saved his life! The tumor kept shrinking and he still has to go back every 3 months for a few scans but so far, so good.
I highly recommend Sloan... they saved my brother from leukemia and my dad from lung cancer.
Many prayers for your FIL!!!
