double stroller suggestions
my son just turned 3 in september. he still occasionally uses his stroller i can usually get him to "stroll" when its that bewitching hour and he is fighting a nap. hell still nap in his stroller.
i do not use it all the time in stores but the more pregnant i got the more i would take it incase my ds pulled his "hold me" tantrum or if i knew id be buying a lot of things. (then i could hang my bags on the stroller)
with the impending arrival of dc2 (due date mon) im debating buying the double stroller. i do remember strolling a lot when my ds was a baby (just to get out of the house) an im nervous my son will be jealous and blow fits that its his stroller.
i guess what im asking is what has others experience been with children with a similiar age gap. is it worth the money? should i just tell ds he is too big and the stroller is the babys now? or will that cause a whole new set of issues?
what double is good? i LOOOVE my citi mini but idk if its worth the price tag for the length of time i need it.
any advice is appreciated. im very confused.

Re: double stroller suggestions
DS1 will be almost 4 when the new baby is born (next month). DS1 still will ride and nap in the stroller and sometimes gives me problems if we have a lot of walking (and sometimes I want him contained so I can get in and out of the store quickly!)
We just got the Graco Ready2Grow. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12535573
I like all of the configurations and it seemed a lot more sturdy than the Sit N Stand one that's like it. I think this one will get us the most use for our money.

Re: double stroller suggestions
I have a 2 1/2 and a 16 month old, with #3 on the way. I love my double citi mini and plan to keep using it. I like that he has an option of sitting or not. I plan on buying the foot board for it as well so if he doesn't want to sit, he can stand on it while I push. All these options, and plus its so lightweight I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a double stroller. HTH!

i saw something similar w/ chicco (i have the chicco car seat) i agree ~ def looks a lot better than a sit & stand. especially with the holidays coming and the new baby still needing to lay down.
thank you for your suggestion! i think i will have to go to the store and see how heavy it is.

double stroller suggestions
My son was 2 1/4 when DS 2 arrived and was over the stroller. I was torn as to what to do.
I got the City Mini with carseat adapter and love it. I use it mainly for walks or if we go someplace with a lot of walking. I feel that it was worth the investment. We still use it a lot - DS 1 will be 4 in December and DS 2 is 19 months. I use it at least once a week (I WFT so it's mainly used on weekends).
Oh - and DS 1 got very upset the first time he saw DS 2 in his stroller (even though he was over it).
