getting the show on the road
Just went for my first sonogram for cycle day 3 and picked up my Clomid to start Wednesday and will finally have my first IUI this month...Anything I should know about the medication or what to expect? When is best to take it? I'm scared I'm going to be queasy with it so I'm thinking nighttime would be best.
Wish me luck ladies.....After 18 cycles of trying, all the routine tests, moving out of state, looking for an RE that accepts our health plan, and getting our insurance into sorts we are finally ready to start this process with some assistance...I have not posted in quite sometime because life has been pretty busy. Wishing all you ladies lots of luck and hoping to move onto a different board soon  Any advice would be appreciated.

I was fine on Clomid. No side effects except a little tired. The IUI isn't bad. Its kinda like a pap but a little longer. The first IUI I had some spotting and cramps. Most of my other IUIs I was fine. Its really not bad at all so don't worry. GL

Everyone reacts differently on clomid. I had hot flashes and was quite bitchy lol.
Like pp said IUI feels a lot like a pap. I had cramping and spotting after almost all of my IUIs. Nothing too bad.
Worst part is the 2ww. But you have that with trying on your own anyway so you know that hell hahahaha

Goodluck!!!
Clomid made me a bit of a lunatic, but at times I was fine, I was also extremely EXHAUSTED! Thankfully I started close to a weekend so I literally spent two days in bed. But after that I was fine. Minus the one lunatic episode that DH had to go through. Oops.
