1st bday hall help please! :)
Hi All,
I need help finding a hall for my DD 1st bday. approx 75 adults, 25 kids. I plan to have some activities so I rather a hall then a restaurant but I also cant spend $500 fee just to rent a space. looking in Nassau county mostly. closer to mass, seaford, Wantagh, bellmore, merrick area would be preferable. any suggestions?
TIA!

Try Hartigan Manor in Bethpage, my sister had my niece and nephew's 1st birthday parties there, the room was spacious and they used the DJ that does parties there and he kept the kids entertained. The minimum guarantee I believe was 75 people.

I am in Suffolk and not sure if there is anything similar in Nassau - but for my DD's 1st b-day we held it at the local Town Recreation Center. The fee was $525 but they refund you $200 after the party. They provided us with all the tables and chairs and we brought in food and drinks (we were allowed to serve alcohol too). We also had entertainment for the kiddies.

We did this in Carle place! Can't beat the price - huge room ! We used it twice and a friend used it too! Would definitely do it again!

We're using the VFW hall in Levittown for our son's first bday. It was the most reasonable price out of the all of them.

I don't know how much it costs, but we recently went to a 1st bday party at the Seaford fire dept and had a blast. At the end of the party, the guys who worked there let the kids go look at the fire trucks and ambulance. It was so much fun.
