Re: Radio City Christmas Show
I remember going when I was about 7 so I am waiting to take my kids until they are about 6 and 8 (2 more years for us).

Re: Radio City Christmas Show
I saw that Groupon today and I was thinking the same. I've gone with my nieces and nephews for years. My nephew is autistic and even at a young age, 4, he enjoyed it. I was debating taking my dd, 15 months. Any experience?

I am debating taking my 17 month old along with my 4 year old too...Does anyone have experience with this? I may just take my four year old and leave the little one with the grandparents/ I feel guilty though.

Re: Radio City Christmas Show
We will be trying it with my 22 month old & my 3.5 year old in a week (one of the first shows & was much cheaper than the groupon rate).
The little one will be on our lap (and free)... so unless she becomes squirmy, we are good. We got aisle seats, just in case!
It'll be my first time. We will see how it goes!

Re: Radio City Christmas Show
We're taking 2.5 year old DD, leaving 9 mo baby at home with grandma. We'll also go see the tree and decorated store windows then out for a fancy lunch. I *think* she'll do well, she can be pretty mature for her age at times.
My biggest concerns are the restaurant and where to change her. This is why DD has never been to the city before.

Re: Radio City Christmas Show
Thank you everyone for the info. My dd is 4 and I'm considering maybe taking her. My DS is 2 but I doubt he would enjoy it at all..........too little and just to energetic to sit there for all that time. Have fun to those who are going!!

Re: Radio City Christmas Show
I've taken my 2 oldest when they were 4 and 6. They really enjoyed it. We are not going this year, but I might try taking my younger ds next year when he will be 3.

Re: Radio City Christmas Show
Update: it is ok for a 3.5 year old who can sit through something long (like a movie). DS liked it... But it wasn't as great as I thought it would be.
It's rough with our almost 2 year old.
The seats are hard to see from (people in front do block vision for a kid sitting on a chair or even a lap). We were really upfront in seats that would go for a ridiculous amount in peak season and had that problem.
We went last year to the big apple circus (with a 2.5 year old and almost 1 year old). It was a lot more captivating for them.
I feel like the Xmas show was geared more for 6, or 7 year olds. It was my first time, so I liked it... But a lot of it is watching choreography.

Re: Radio City Christmas Show
We went once with one DC who was just turned 4. DC was MESMERIZED by it. I am not even sure DC blinked the entire show. Didn't make a peep, Loved it SO SO much.
We went to see the tree and DC wasn't NEARLY as mesmerized by it. We walked out RIGHT under the tree and DC went "Eh, its a medium tree, can we go to the lego store over there"
Whomp Whomp.
Christmas Spectacular though - HUGE HIT!
